Closeup of the fork conversion. I used a 1985(ish) YZ250 triple tree, then machined a channel at the base of the center spindle in order to get it to clear the head stem of the DT which is longer than the newer YZ. I then pressed taper bearing races into the head stem of the DT175.

This '78 DT has Barkbusters from my Aussie IT250, along with the IT's original forks & wheel. The 43mm forks have been shortened to fit the DT by disassembling and relocating the inner spacer to the topside of the fork tube.
